Goat in the Road Productions (GRP) is an award-winning New Orleans based performance ensemble dedicated to the production of original and invigorating new works of theatre and educational programming.
Founded in New Orleans in 2008, GRP has two main goals: To foster young artists in New Orleans through its educational programming, Play/Write and Goat in the Schools. To create new works of theatre that engage the community and foster discussion around important social issues. GRP has produced over twenty new plays and worked with over 6,000 New Orleans students.
Unfortunately the outbreak of COVID-19 led to the cancellation of GRP's most recent immersive play The Uninvited, as well as its remount of Kind Human Kind, a collaboration with award-winning musician Aurora Nealand. However, the company is continuing to move forward and prepare for next year's programming and the time when we can be together again watching people on the stage!
